Job Description for Plant Manager

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Post Graduation having Ten years of Experience with adequate Administrative and Industrial experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Organizing plant and machinery maintenance and coordinating with maintenance subcontractors as needed.
  • Training all department heads on safety, quality, GMP, 5S, and other paperwork Evaluation and approval of the requirement for training for employees and associates. Testing the efficacy of training.
  • Plant security and maintenance Supervision/monitoring of all departments, ensuring adherence to GMP and other quality requirements; frequent interaction with staff members and employees.
  • Assuring that legislative requirements such as the factories act, labor laws, pollution control board standards, and safety criteria are met.
  • To create a monthly production plan, which will be divided into weekly plans based on the forecast obtained from the company.
  • To guarantee that production objectives are reached on a daily basis.
  • Forecasting the availability of raw materials and packaging materials to company authorities in advance and following up with suppliers/vendors on the same.
  • To assess optimal labor usage Ensure the cleanliness and care of the whole manufacturing grounds.
  • To guarantee that all machinery is serviced on schedule so that production may continue uninterrupted.
  • To guarantee that the quality protocols provided by the QA department are followed on the shop floor throughout various activities.
  • Job assignment to Store In-Charge and Production Heads, as well as their monitoring and direction
  • Respond to client complaints sent by QA and submit investigation findings.
  • Bring any non-conformity to the company's notice quickly and take efforts to resolve it; monitor the efficacy of remedial actions done.
  • Subordinate workers are evaluated annually. Payment of government and statutory dues on time. Examining various agreements and discussing them with Directors for finalization and execution.
  • Plant layout preparation.
