SOP for Cleaning of Quality Control Laboratory

OBJECTIVE

To lay down the procedure for cleaning of quality control laboratory.

PROCEDURE

• Broom the floor of all the sections including the staircase, daily and then mope with wet mope.
• Clean all the tables and reagent racks with dry mopping.
• Empty the dust bins, clean them, and keep them at the place.
• Clean all the instruments with a cotton duster.

• Once in a week clean all the fixtures with dry mopping.
• Clean all the racks in chemical stores once every week.
• Clean all the walls and ceiling once every week.
• After cleaning the area by workmen, check the cleanliness of the area and put the Yes in the cleaning record as per the ANNEXURE I

Frequency:

Note: - Trained workmen should do Instrument cleaning.
