SOP for Operation and Cleaning of Turn Table

OBJECTIVE

To lay down a standard operation and cleaning of Turn table.

SCOPE

Procedure applies to Turn table located in XYZ Limited.

RESPONSIBILITY

Operator: Operation and cleaning of the machine.

Supervisor: To ensure procedure is appropriately followed.

QA. Personnel: For routine and preventive maintenance

PROCEDURE

Operation

• Check cleanliness to Turn table and area.
• Fix the status label for the next product.
• Connect power supply to the machine.
• Switch on main power supply to electrical components by putting the “ON/OFF” toggle switch in on position.
• Start the machine with “MACHINE START” push button.
• Set the machine speed as per requirement by “SPEED” pot switch.

• Check the direction of rotation of turn table disc. If it is not as per requirement, then change it by changing the phase sequence of two of the three connections (R,Y,B) of the main driver motor.
• Stop the machine with “MACHINE STOP” push button when you want to stop it.
• Switch off the main power supply after stopping the machine at the end of shift.
• Record the details in log book.

Cleaning

• Switch off main power supply.
• Clean the machine daily or after every batch with clean cloth.
• Lubricants all driving chains, gears, bushes, sprockets, etc. with the help of Grease and/or oil weekly.
• Record the details in log book.
