OBJECTIVE:
To provide a procedure for monitoring of Temperature and Humidity in the Warehouse.
SCOPE:
The procedure applies to the monitoring of Temperature and Humidity conditions in Warehouses.
RESPONSIBILITY:
- It is the responsibility of Warehouse personnel to monitor the Temperature and Humidity conditions of the Warehouse as per this SOP.
- It is the responsibility of Warehouse Manager and the QA Manager to ensure that the procedure is followed.
PROCEDURE:
- The Warehouse personnel shall record the readings of Temperature and Humidity from Thermometer and Hygrometer respectively as per Attachment-1.
- The frequency of recording the Temperature and Humidity readings shall be at least twice in a shift.
- In case if the temperature reading goes above 30 °C or the Humidity reading goes above 65 % RH, the Warehouse personnel shall inform the QA Manager.
- The QA Manager on receiving the information shall issue the Non-conformity report to the Warehouse Manager as per SOP: ‘Corrective and Preventive Action’. An appropriate corrective and preventive action shall be taken to prevent rise in Temperature or Humidity conditions in the Warehouse.
